Office Policies
Annual Exam
An annual exam is required once yearly for all patients of Internal Medicine Practices. The annual exam is a designated time to review all problems and medications and ensure that all cancer screenings and other preventive measures are up to date.
Appointment Policy
Late Arrivals
If you arrive late for your appointment, you may not be able to be seen and may be charged a short-notice cancellation fee. That time slot was reserved specifically for you and other patients are scheduled following your appointment. This decision is made on a case-by-case basis depending on the schedule for that day.
Late Cancellation/No Show Fees
We require 24-hour advance notice of cancellation. A $25.00 fee will be applied to your account for short-notice cancellations or missed appointments. A second occurrence will result in a $50.00 fee. Patients who miss several appointments without calling may be discharged from our practice.
Prescription Refill Policy
For all of your medications prescription refills, please call us or call your pharmacy at least 48 hours in advance before running out of your medications. Every effort will be made to approve your request the same day it is received.
Prescription refills are filled only during office business hours when the physician has access to your medical records. Requests received after normal business hours will not be processed until the next business day.
Please try to get your prescription refills during your office visit.
If you have questions, please contact our office at 352-391-5299.
